My final year project was dealing with experimental study. so, lot of parts needed to be fabricated by my own especially machining process. A month before, i had finish my machining process at machining lab, I was happy because i no need to deal with those Bastards again.
But unfortunately, i need to put thermocouple (a temperature measuring instrument) into my specimen, so i need to drill some small holes at various points, diameter of the holes is 1.0mm. So, this morning before EE class, i go to ask those technicians. I talk with Mr.R then with Mr.L, both are technicians.
me: Good morning, would Mr help me that can i drill a 1.0mm holes on my specimen.
Mr.R: (no looking at me) can gua, but i din have small drill bit, go to find Mr.L.
Mr.R point to the Mr.L direction, then a walk approach Mr.L.
me: good morning Mr, can i have drill bit with 1.0mm.
Mr.L: (point to a big tool box) find ourselves, at the toolbox. (at the mean time he is playing computer game).
After finding for 5 minites, he came.
Mr.L: finding so long also can't get, let me find it.
so i just step a side, then he find a while, then go to another locker, then got it.
Mr.L: See, i got already, why u take so long to find it, but make sure you give back after used it.
me: ok, thanks Mr.L. (u bastard call me to find here, u got it from other place)
After that i walk to milling machine, Mr.R is there. He told me to drill carefully, this kind of drill will break easily, then he show me for the first hole. But on half way, the drill bit was break into half. then Mr.R argued that 1.0mm was too small, so he get another another one from his toolbox, 1.5mm drill bit. ( he got drill bits, why he call me to borrow from Mr.L at the first place, shit). 1.5mm was not too bad, all holes can be performed. when it was done, I approach Mr.L to say sorry for the bit.
me: Mr.L, sorry that i break your bit, i can pay for it. (although is not my fault)
Mr.L: See, i told u already, drill carefully, now break already.
me: just now is Mr.R drilled for me.
Mr.L: But you have to replaced a new one, i don't want money, i need a new drill bit.
me: ok, may i ask where can i get the drill bit?
Mr.L: what year are you now, go find yourselves at Taman U lah.
me: ok, i'll give back to Mr this afternoon.
Mr.L: you have to know, the drill bit is not for me, is for other students convenient to used it next time, we only got one of this 1.0mm drill bit only.
me: ok, i understand (stop bullshiting me with those excuse)
Then i go to Taman U hardware shop to buy the drill for RM 2.00, i feel very disappointed with the machining lab's technicians. Is not the problem of money or replacement of drill bit, is their attitude problems. They treat student as a piece of shit, no value, no status, no image, nothing. Students are the clients of university, not university is the client of students. That why Malaysia university still cant compete with others university. Towards World Class University at 2010, I don't think so...........

Hari Raya Puasa
Malaysia citizen were divided into Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, and bla bla bla..... Why we don't called ourselves Malaysian. When asked, we address ourselves as Chinese, not Malaysian. An issue that had strong relation with IR, International Relations, long story......
Hari Raya Puasa was celebrated on 1st Syawal, 1429 which equivalent to 1st October, 2008, by Malay, not Malaysian, at least not for us. I'm was spending this event at Collage 17, block XC2. haha, sound funny izit. At the particular day, my friend, PP(Pet Pet), done something that was very very unexpected, or maybe he only did it during the absent of his gal.
We, me and Mr. Dou Yao Qun, a drug addict, also my ex-room-mate, lets called him DA, together with PP went to Taman U for lunch. On the way of going back, this DA challenge PP that why don't we go into gals' collages since there were not gals on the way. The driver, PP, took the challenge and drive us into gals collage compound, which were restricted area for guys, maybe, something like that. Firstly we went to KTF, K12 then followed by K13. Most of gals were back for holiday. Only few of them stay at Collage. Not much finding.
What a pity, is this called campus life? students nowadays never enjoy their campus life. If the holiday is more then 3 days, most of then will going back to hometown. haiz...Only 4 years at university also don't know how to appreciate campus life.
